From a news article I just happened to come across, apparently people have been going wild for ‘it’… busily getting married in all parts of the world — because it’s a date that won’t come around til 100 years later.

I have to admit, it does look surreal, neat, cool (and confusing) all at the same time…

But as soon as I read the “it won’t come around for another 100 years” I thought.. wait, hang on.. what about 12/11/11 and 13/11/11 and the day after that? With this kind of date format, isn’t EVERY day a once-in-a-100-years kind of day?

Humm.. maybe I’m not sharing the same enthusiasm as those tying the knot with their ‘the one’ seeing as the only exciting thing I had was final year exams (or maybe because I haven’t found my ‘the one’? :P).

I can imagine the explosion of Pepero in the streets of Korea — I guess that is a better excuse for going wild. Although.. it is still a marketing ploy.

Ah well.. a new bright optimistic thought of the day!

Every day is a special day that comes ONLY every century!! (And that’s a thought that comes only every… okay bye for now!)
